The owners were remodeling their modest one-story apartment when they decided to amplify renovations by demolishing all interior walls except structural pillars and constructing an upper floor, expanding the single-family dwelling to a duplex apartment.
The projects was planed in collaboration with Tal Lerner. The dwelling’s stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea was central to the planning of space and function, and creation of the design line.
Extensive consideration was given to optimizing space. The upper story’s public area is broad and expansive; an open space matched with a clean, warm design. Space is similarly optimized on the duplex’s lower story, where in the private area, a pleasant family corner and work area is the family’s primary hub and meeting area.
